How

A typical session…

In a typical first session, we will tackle the most pressing issues right away, and we will devise a strategy to find the best way to achieve your goals, should the scope of the project require more than one session. Chris charges by the hour, and gives estimate for projects that have easily known scopes.

Chris has a special for new customers in which the hourly rate is 33% reduced, for our first day of work together. This discounted rate helps us tackle the most pressing issues right away, makes it more accessible, and gives you a good sense of what it’s like working together.

We can choose to work together virtually (with screen sharing and audio), over the phone, or in person onsite or in public. Chris finds that in-person sessions yield the highest quality results.

Chris prefers to square up at the end of each session, and also offers payment plans for larger projects; Zelle and Venmo are his preferred payments, but cash or a check work as well.

To be best prepared…

Chris always devises a simple agenda based on our already discussed needs and presents it to his clients at the beginning of each session. The agenda can be modified as we see fit, as you are the boss!

Chris recommends having usernames and passwords tested and available ahead of time, should we need to work on certain services together.

He also recommends having any stakeholders present or available for conversation, should we need to get more info from them. But he is also happy to work on their behalf, should their schedule not allow it.

If you need to first discuss…

Sometimes it’s hard to articulate our needs and describe the issue. Chris is happy to discuss with you your needs over the phone or a video call. Please reach out to book a free 20-minute introductory call.

Working with Chris…

  • Is not a prescriptive method, but rather a framework that is centric to simplicity and using tech solutions to fill in the details for your needs.

  • Takes a collegiate approach in finding solutions to your needs—we partner together and ultimately you decide what works best for yourself.

  • Reduces your carbon footprint so we consume less, save money and place less burden on our environment.

  • Increases efficiency through the evolution of your workflows and tech usage, just like nature evolves, but at the speed of technology, which is exponentially evolving.

  • Artfully utilizes technology to best suit your needs, negating the need for you to adapt to tech; instead tech is adapted to best suit your needs.

  • Cultivates feelings of ease and makes way for joy in life through and with technology.

  • Does not aim to force change nor dictate ways, but simply raise awareness and present options.

Artful, Elegant, Simple

Can you spot the standing desk? Not all tech setups need to be so tech-y and obvious. With modern, versatile tech, we can create elegant solutions that work with our environment in subtle, simple and healthy ways.

The tablet, wireless trackpad and keyboard perfectly fit onto the radiator (which is turned off for safety, by the way). For light work—writing, referencing, emailing, calendaring, etc—there is reduced need to sit for extended periods of time, thus reducing “tech neck” and back pain.

The result is a happy, healthy body, in addition to a minimalist and elegant workstation that can also adjust and move around in a snap.
